"Neptune Park has an outdoor stage for entertainment throughout the summer and is right on Virginia Beach. Oceanfront at 31st and Atlantic The 34-ft bronze statue of King Neptune definitely captures attention and is a gathering spot for pictures."

"The area around the statue was very nice and all the art work was beautiful. We went in off-season on a weekday so it wasn’t crowded at all. The only downside is we couldn’t find any changing rooms or “private” showers. They did have outside wash stations though. We also went back at dark and it felt like a very safe area as the boardwalk is very lit up."

"The statue of King Neptune is truly a beautiful work of art. The detail is amazing. It's a great place to take pictures. I'm not sure why it's called a park, as it is right on the boardwalk, beach side. There is a small grassy area with a very nice stage across the boardwalk street side from it, so maybe that's the park portion of it."

"Awesome views of the water and beaches from the boardwalk. The statue is well maintained and the area is clean with no litter or garbage around. The hotel we stayed at was right by the statue and it was definitely a hot attraction. The water was a but chilly but it was worth the trip!"
