"Well……. this campground is more for the long term campers . The pictures on the web site aren’t up to date . The “swimming hole “ looks more like a pond, with black plastic coming through where the sand used to be . Many pot holes coming in the entrance. The WI-FI doesn’t even hardly work . No ice machine or coke machine . Certainly no restaurant in the barn area . There is a nice fella with longer hair and barefoot , that is very pleasant and helpful !! He helped me set up my camper and even walked my dog for me. He was truly the best amenity at the park! On a quick note do your best to avoid the bathrooms on a hot day because it’s like a sauna and whatever you do remember to bring your own toilet paper as it is not provided. No fan in the showers and really nowhere to put your toiletries or hang your clothes. This park has huge potential as it is surrounded by Norris lake and Big Ridge state park. The property is huge and beautiful. I’m from another part of East Tennessee and they are making Maynardville hwy 4 lanes which means Knoxville is headed this way. In my opinion this park will be a fancy neighborhood with half a million dollar homes in it in the next 5 to 10 years why else would it have slipped from what I saw on the website?"
"550 a month on top of making them pay electric is ridiculous I currently stay here and it’s just went down hill none of the pictures listed our in any way shape or form what it looks like in person the potholes in the front drive and coming down the driveway broke my car down making us pay 550 a month on a place that is turning into a trailer park on top of them wanting to charge us for electricity as well soon is crazy we have a community here that actually care about saving a dollar or at least getting what they pay for biggest false advertisement I’ve saw definitely wouldn’t recommend until people start caring"
"My dad stayed here for a while and before moving I spoke with the owner who ensured me it was started and kept family her family. Well part was true the part about being started by family but the other was anything but kept or even safe in many ways. The people who rented lots were responsible to completely maintain the public shared bathhouse/ restrooms, without an attorney or truck it wasn't easy to dodge all the potholes. They had a drop cord ran to power my dad's camper when they moved him down in a mud hole in back. They enjoy gossiping about the individuals renting from them and the amenities that are online are not of the place itself. I'm not sure how the passed code inspection to stay open. In fact last I was there the "natural swimming pool" wasn't allowed to open. They even raised lot rents and decreased what they did keep up! Stay away if you are looking for a miserable vacation, I learned there are couple places close by that are much more enjoyable! Clean and honest! I gave 1 star because I had to."
"For a start up business they have done a nice job. Family run business carved out a niche market to serve community. Nice beach pond, clean bathroom facilities, restaurant, RV camping, domestic petting farm and a fishing pond."
"Friendly and helpful people, beautifully secluded campground, which is very relaxing while looking over the land with huge mountains and trees along with nature and a petting zoo. Just Gorgeous!"
