"I had bad sciatica on both my legs couldn’t hardly stand or walk also stood up crooked. Went to DR Marko had a appointment with him he talked extensively with me and was in no hurry like most Doctors got me a mri rite away then in April had my back surgery which was fairly involved but he held my hand the whole way and well he did an amazing job and brought my life back to me. As for his staff the office ladies and his assistants they were wonderful and very helpful especially with all the paperwork for insurance and time off from work. Very positive environment and enjoyable experience."

"Doctor was so strange. Shortest evaluation that I have ever had being a new patient. Waited 1.5 hours to see him. Came in introduced himself shook my hand, asked what was going on, before I could tell him all that was going on, he had me push down on me toes and hands as a resistance test. Prescribed me an steroid and amitriptyline. Had a follow up appointment at 11:00 a, knowing that I lived over an hours drive away. Had receptionist call as I got half way to appointment and cancel. Need I say more. I don’t recommend him for anyone not even as a last resort……"

"Dr. Nicholas Marko has been a Godsend for us!! We had been surprised in the emergency room by a cat scan that revealed a large growth on the pituitary gland that was pressing on the optic nerve. Rather than having time to research, study, and select a surgeon, we were told there would be surgery the next morning due to the necessity of relieving the pressure on the optic nerve. We were introduced to Dr. Marko who shared that through his time at the Cleveland Clinic and in his current practice he had performed hundreds of surgeries on pituitary gland tumors. His credentials are excellent, but his bedside manner is even better! I am blessed with a daughter, a neonatologist and a son-in-law, a pulmonologist and intensivist, who quickly researched Dr.Marko, but who also had a number of questions and concerns. Dr. Marko was very open to their questions and concerns and seemed to be very non-threatened with other doctors engaging in conversation with him. What impressed us the most was his patience with us in these important conversations, listening empathetically and explaining procedures in a non-anxious manner. He never seemed concerned about amount of time he was with us. But MORE than that, Dr. Marko was interested in the person I was, my lifestyle, and my concerns and hopes. There was an easiness about his engagement that created a confidence in his concern for the pressing issue and for me, the patient. This was borne out in the pre and post care of the operation, in the visits in the ICU, in his conversation with me before the surgery and with my wife and children following the surgery, and in his post operative care within his office.
