"Recently spent the night camping in a small tent - we were motorcycling along the MABDR - a little off the track but we booked on line last minute so all good, facility was in the forest. Quite busy due to the holiday weekend with lots of families. Bathrooms seemed limited but not too bad. Camp site was close to the road with the "very loud" cars, trucks and motorcycles racing past. This was annoying. Felt like give a 2 star so the 3 star is generous. (perhaps a different camp site would have been different)"

"Nice camp grounds, you have your fire pit (with a swing grill), picnic table, a place for your tent but was a little rocky. Luckily we had an air mattress that helped. We stayed close to the bathroom which was out dated but had working toilets, a sink and shower area. There was a sink area behind the bathroom building so we were able to wash our dishes. You can purchase firewood at the host camp sites for $6 a bundle. It wasn't close to the lake but I would stay here again."

"This place is great, plenty of room and relatively quiet at all hours. Short ride to the lake and river. We have never had a problem getting a site even at last minute."

"Campsite 7 has no cell service- so be aware! We moved to 21 and had much much better reception. I don’t recommend the hiking trail- it is not well kept and we got lost. The hike to the lake is very long. Other than that, my heart was broken for the camp host’s dog- who barked at all hours- which they try to mitigate by zapping the living daylights out of him with a zap collar!"

"We stayed at campsite 048 and it was GREAT! I love this place! We were close by the restroom which had plenty of toilet papers and hot water for showers. Yeah you’re going to see small bugs in sink because you’re out in nature. I used a Clorox wipe to wiped down the sink and toilet seat before use. The bathrooms aren’t the prettiest and can use a little fresh paint on the flooring but, who cares? If you’re camping you’re there to connect with nature. My husband and I honestly didn’t expect any bathrooms to be open due to COVID. So it was a plus for us to be able to use hot showers after adventuring out to nearby springs and doing day adventures and exploring. I’ve added some photos for all to see. Cellphone reception was awesome! We had signal at our site. Something to keep in mind if you’re not trying to disconnect completely from life lol. Everything was prefect and we will definitely be back soon!"
