"Great place for a walk, interpretive signs and pollinator gardens. The lake was lowered when there was a flood a few years ago that eroded part of the dam.. its still safe at the current water level but... in order to raise the water level up again , there will be an expensive fix .. until there is money, watching the changes take place should be interesting."

"Fishing is not like it use to be. Not pleased with how they have drained the lake. It completely wiped out all the good bank fishing spots. Just really disappointed in how it's become a walking trail instead of what was one of the best fisheries in Rockingham County. That being said there is still a lot of fish in here. Now it's just full of Lily pads."
"The trail is a great nature walk! Half is about 6 feet wide and gravel, the other half is more of a trail with hills and narrow path."
"What a beautiful place to walk around, set and relax or fish and kayak. Interesting trail mostly flat and goes behind nice homes and a golf course. Ilse will come again."
