"I've been camping here since I was 4 years old. Now, my Dad and I have a camper here. It's affordable, convenient, and safe. There is easy River access whether you want to swim, fish, or canoe. The bathrooms and showers are convenient, as is the stockpile of firewood. Plenty of restaurants are nearby and Kite's Store is on-site for those common items you may have forgotten. There are also many nearby hiking trails if you prefer terra firma. After coming here for 37 years, a lot of my friends come here and two have also secured permanent camper sites. I highly recommend!"

"Excellent experience all around. Emailed with Stan and got everything reserved and arranged. Showed up and everything was as promised. Stayed four nights and had a wonderful and relaxing time around the fire and kayaking and fishing as well. Everyone at the campground were respectful and I had heard that if people got out of hand here, they wouldn't be there long before getting run off. It made for a great solo week camping trip to unwind and I didn't want to go back to work afterwards."

"The primitive sites are small; however, a 12 person tent easily fits in the site. The firewood was a great amenity. Really clean bathrooms and showers. The owner and staff were super cordial and responsive. I'm already excited for the next time I'll camp here."

"Spoke with the owner over the phone a few times. He was very nice. I love the location of the campgrounds. It was a great atmosphere there and a good view being right on the river. When you check in you check in at the little store right across from the campgrounds. Bathrooms are well maintained also."
