"Checked out this park while in the area. Right next to the first parking lot was an area for kids to explore. Went for a short run on the trails. Fish Bight was gravel and along the water nice and easy. Then there was Paw Paw Hollow which went straight up the hill. It was a challenge and not for everyone."

"Gorgeous surroundings! Stellar! Easy walk alongside the Shenandoah River! More difficult options, too. We took a trail marked "difficult" that took us straight up to the Ridgeline. Steep but trail was in good shape. It was majestic! Bring $5 cash fir an easy registration Or use an app to pay online."

"We parked at the Lupton Rd entrance. Beautiful park with lots of picnic tables, but know that most are out in full sun. We did a short loop, and walked down to the water at a few different access points. Toilet facilities available at both entrances. It was a nice spot to picnic and do a short walk. You could do a longer walk if you choose. Very relaxing."

"It's a beautiful and quiet park with plenty of trails. Due to its location, it's not crowded as well. Trails are from easy to difficult. Keep in mind that the difficult trail is not a loop, and you should return back on the same way. It's really steep sometimes, so be prepared with the proper shoes. There are actually two entrances to the park. The park is crossed by a small river. It's not deep, but we have seen people tubing and kayaking. There's also a winery next to the park. I would recommend planning a half of the day or the entire day to spend there because there is so much to see."
