"I am so firmly on the atheist spectrum that I fully reject the concept of a ""higher power"" period, whatsoever. I have never felt pressured or pushed towards religion or a religious mindset by my therapist and they give me exclusively secular guidance which I appreciate. Try not to be too spooked by the "pastoral" deal, these good folks have the same education and credentials as secular practitioners."
