Classic Cleaners

"I have been using Classic Cleaners for nearly 25 years as my preferred dry cleaner. I recently had an experience there that has caused me to leave a public review and not give them my business anymore. After multiple times of not receiving my pressed shirts with creases in the sleeves, a gentlemen came out from the back and told me it was “my fault”. I explained to him that I politely and specifically asked for creases in my sleeves multiple times and continue to not receive them with creases. I also told him that if I could not get my shirts back how I requested I would have to take my business elsewhere. He replied back “I don’t care”. Shockingly I replied back that I would be leaving a review of this encounter and indeed not returning as a customer. He continued to reply “I don’t care!” I have never received such poor customer service in our valley. It’s a disgrace that a business such as Classic Cleaners would be so rude to any customer, let alone one of nearly 25 years."

"Very friendly but they really have trouble pressing. I have a ruined suit jacket and several pair of pants that can’t be fixed because the fabric is now shiny where they pressed it."

"Ruined my comforters. All the stuffing was balled up to one side as if they washed it instead of dry cleaning it. Nov. 1. I just opened another comforter. That was ruined also. I had 5 comforters cleaned and 2 of them are ruined. (T.Phelps)"

"Update: 8/2023 - the establishment is under new management now and they reached out this past spring to personally apologize make it right. I’ve since had my suits dry cleaned again with no issues. I was impressed by the willingness of the new ownership to take accountability for the actions of others! *** Dropped off two suits for dry cleaning. I went to pick them up as scheduled and they brought me one suit and one pant. They said the cream jacket was being held for additional spot cleaning. I knew the jacket didn’t have stains so I asked to see what they felt needed additional cleaning. I was then told they couldn’t find the jacket. The other suit and pant still wrinkled and not in plastic. The woman insisted they’d been cleaned and wanted me to pay for them. I told her to bring me my white jacket immediately, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Absolutely ridiculous service and really poor quality compared to what I’m used to at this business. Won’t be back."

"I took a precious long African skirt from Ghana to be cleaned. I worried because the skirt meant a lot to me. They were kind when I dropped it off and equally as kind when I picked up my skirt that was well pressed and clean. It also did not have that cleaner chemical smell. I would use this business again for taking great care in cleaning my skirt and kindness in delivering my item as agreed. They are much appreciated."
