"This apartment has been a great place to live! The main lobby is modern, spacious and always well kept, add to that front desk staff that are welcoming all the time and you have a place you are always happy to come back to. The unit I rent is a 2BR/2B and it is abnormally spacious with several built-in drawers. I also love the fact that the living room is full of light. I would have liked the bedroom windows to be wider, but you can't have it all can you? The facilities are adequate, the laundry on the top floor is clean and never busy. It also has great views, if you want to sit in the comfortable waiting area and read/ work while you wait till your laundry is ready. Haven't exploited the pool, but it's a nice place from my one visit :-) but I love the GYM. But more than everything, the two things I love the most in this apartment are: one nobody disturbs you! I have yet to hear a disturbing noise anywhere in the apartment! two, everywhere you go the place is well kept and clean. If you need maintenance, the maintenance team are quick to respond and efficient."
"My mother had a stroke in her apartment and cannot live there anymore. They still want us to give 60 days' notice (pay rent for those two months) AND pay one month's rent to break her lease. The woman is incapacitated and can't live alone. I guess tenant health and welfare don't matter as long as they get their money. Would give even less stars if I could."
"This building gives NO REGARD to resident safety. Please see the photos below for what the managers of this building deems an "acceptable" snow plowing job. The parking lot is coated with ice and snow (there's barely any salt down. but hey there's 2 unopened bags sitting next to the parking lot!). Not only did they do an abysmal plowing job, they simply just push excess snow into parking spots rather than taking the time to properly move it so residents lose spots in an already overcrowded lot. As the temperature drops tonight and the parking lot freezes over, it will essentially become an ice skating rink. It is just a matter of time before someone slips and gets seriously injured. But if you do get injured, you better hope you don't break your foot because one elevator has been out of service for almost 2 months now! You'll be waiting for an elevator forever. There's 12 floors, roughly 18 apartments/floor ~2 people per apartment so like 432 people all waiting for 2 elevators! Oh and did I mention its strictly enforced that only one person can ride at a time? I understand its for COVID protocols but even if you're wearing a mask it's still one person per elevator. It can take upwards of 10-15 minutes to get an elevator during the morning and evening rush hour times. Hope you're not in any type of hurry! Additional problems with this building include: a poor resident to washer/dryer ratio, roaches in the vents, incredible amounts of dust in the vents, a parcel locker that has broken down TWICE in the past month."
"This was the cheapest apartment building on the pike when we first moved in. I don’t think this is still the case but look around to confirm. Right now they are using an algorithm to calculate their monthly pricing, so you might get a 1bedroom apartment that cost the same as a 2bedroom unit; beware and do you research. The room sizes are large for what you are getting, but the building runs on a switch so when the seasons change it takes a few weeks or even a month before management changes the heat to cold air. The building was under constant maintenance when we lived there. It wasn’t unusual to see 2 out of 3 elevators out of order or to have your gas cut on a Tuesday morning due to work being done. Management in 2200 is the reason why so many people hate living here. They don’t care about their residents after you sign on the dotted line. There was a case of robberies that stole resident car tires/wheels while I was there, and management did little to notify the resident or provide any useful information on ways to better secure their lot. There is a true lack of communication at this building that strives to be a luxury building which it is not. When guest arrive at the building and attempt to use their “Apartment locator” that usually doesn’t work, the staff at the front desk won’t open the door because you have to be buzzed in by the resident. But if a resident is walking by and opens the door the person outside can just walk right in and the front desk staff never says anything. The laundry is another area which can go “Out-of-service” at anytime and is a true inconvenience if you are in a pinch. Another warning about 2200 is that they may charge you on your way out for “Cleaning” fee like I was and others. We conducted the walk-through with management and got the “Thumbs-up” then 1 month later got a bill in the mail for a carpet and unit cleaning. Cliff notes, we rented a carpet cleaner and did it ourselves prior to the walk-through but somehow it got dirty again after the walk-through which they charged us for. Beware of multiple 5 Star reviews on other sites and other sites that are posted within 1 day of each other. Its most likely they are doing what they did in the past, asking residents to right “Good” review and they offer them gifts in exchange. For the lack of support from management, working from home more than ever since COVD-19 and the numerous newer buildings in the area becoming available you can find a better place to put your 2k a month then this place."
"This is a horrible place for renting an apartment. The managers' attitude towards costumers is terrible, Nobody came to change the light bulbs, repair the window shades, and drainer in the bath tub after I requested several times. I walked in the dark at night, no privacy as the window shades fell down, the water flowed out.... You can only get stressful living with high rental and bad services. When I finished my lease, I cleaned the apartment spotless. But after I moved out one month, they sent me a big bill $1200 for repairing which they did not do when I stayed there. It's ridiculous. It's not a safe place to stay. Drunk man kicked your apartment door at midnight a neighbor's loud music at night."
