"Great place to live. I lived here for the 3 years I attended the law school. The owner is nice and not intrusive at all. The units themselves are small, but just enough space to stretch out and knock out some school work. The AC is a wall unit. They work fine, it was rare that I used mine since the climate is pretty good in Grundy. Nothing cracking a window can’t fix. The internet is fine. They provide community internet that is spotty, so I got a personal internet. Appliances work fine. The downside is there is no dishwasher l, so everything will have to be hand cleaned. Wish there was more counter space. There also isn’t a pantry. I never had any space issues for food though. My only real complaint is there is no washer and dryer in the units. There is a place out back with them, but it cost a lot to do laundry. Other units in Grundy are cheaper, larger, and have a washer and dryer. The ones at back almost never work right. I have to run them 2+ times every time I do laundry so that is (1.25 for a wash and 1.75 for a dry times 2 or 3 for a total of 6 to 9 dollars per load) Laundry aside, I do recommend living here. It has been a very enjoyable experience. Johnny (the owner) has been great. Even if the rent was more and everything, I would still live here. Some of the larger places, the owners are awful, so this place is the place to be."
