Spring Run Apartments

"Have lived here for four years now, and ever since property management changed two years ago things have drastically gone down hill. Absolutely nothing gets fixed or looked at. The knob for my tub broke this past summer, was told that I was put on a list with others that needed same work done. After about two weeks, I ended up having to pay for and replace the knob myself. Both of my livingroom windows, master, and secondary bedroom windows all do not work. Master bedroom window has to be propped open in order to actually stay open. Secondary bedroom window cannot be opened at all. One livingroom window has a broken lock, so it does not lock. And if I want to open it, it can only be opened from the top of the window, the other can’t be opened at all. In October of 2021 my ex broke into my apartment one night, thankfully I wasn’t home. Weeks later I found out from the property manager that my ex was able to gain access to my apartment by climbing through the living room window, the one that is unlockable. Had I had working and lockable windows, this incident would not have had happen. And rather than the property manager saying that she’d make sure all of my windows were fixed and in working condition as soon as possible, she simply suggested that I place a board in my window in order to keep any possible breakins from happening in the future. So, not only is the fact that none of my windows work a fire hazard, but I’ve also had a breakin and the property manager still refuses to do absolutely anything to fix anything at all. But there’s been no hesitation to raise rent twice within a year, and is being raised again after the first of the year. Will be paying $975 a month for an apartment that is severely outdated and needs numerous repairs. This property is the literal example of being backed into a corner, especially if you have no other place to go. Either pay almost $1,000 a month for a place that’s falling apart, or be stuck without a home. To anyone that’s thinking of renting here that has the option to live somewhere else, I highly suggest picking somewhere else, because this place is going down hill very quickly."

"As a former Property Manager I have been thoroughly impressed with the Spring Run Apartments since moving in over one year ago. Curb appeal is second to none, maintenance is prompt in handling service requests and management is top notch. Residents are always provided with sufficient notice with regards to inspections, pest control and community functions. The Property Manager goes out of her way to ensure that all residents needs are met even to the point of responding to after hours emergency maintenance calls. The office, which is only open three days a week; is always neat, clean and orderly. Paperwork is done properly and efficiently from the application process through recertification. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for "an apartment home" look into Spring Run Apartments."
