"This place Is awesome. I went to watch a movie last weekend and got there right when it started. My little boy lost his cool when we were trying to walk in the pitch black to find our seats. We walked out so we didnt disturb everyone and the staff literally told us not to worry about it opened up another theater room and played the movie we came to watch with the lights on so my son would be more comfortable. The staff go out of their way for the customers and are so sweet. We definelty will be recommending to everyone!!"

"A reasonably priced theater. The staff was friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. It was nice to do a small theater that cared about the customers. The only complaint was the seats were a bit older without cup holders but this was not a big deal."

"Cool place. Nostalgic decor! If you go to Luray, definitely grab a movie and check out the themed and decorated theaters. The girls turned on the lights to the Egyptian theater just for me, you can look at my pictures. We saw a Tom Hanks movie, and the popcorn was good, 5 bucks for a medium. There is an upstairs theater and sitting area."

"Very cute little retro theater on Main Street in Luray. It was not crowded but they do show current movies and the concession prices are reasonable. The staff was very friendly and the whole place is very interestingly decorated. The one complaint I have is that they have one ladies room with two stalls and it is so tiny. The stalls themselves are so small you can barely turn around in them. It can be very claustrophobic and difficult for a larger or even average size person to use. I would recommend trying to avoid using the bathroom there."

"Wow! This theater is as old school as old school can be. This place is so special that it's a destination on its own. The family that now owns has one of their family members running the day today. The history behind it in an adventure by its self. The prices are unbeatable. Even if you drove to Luray Virginia got a inexpensive hotel room and then went to this theater the price of all that would still be worth going to see it."
