"Black Dog Ranch is Our home away from home! It is absolutely wonderful there! Ken Ross is an awesome person to work with, helpful and just down to earth. The maintenance man John is also down to earth, humble and very helpful around the sites. He is the man for the job! Highly recommend rentals or leasing here .. if you can grab a spot!"
"Michelle and her staff could not have been more accommodating. Not only were we first timers to WV, we had 22 people renting a mix of the Farm house and several RV spots. We made serious rookie mistakes like parking in the wrong areas and blocking paying camper's spots. They were absolutely understanding and were able to react quickly and work around it. The farm house was clean and they had plenty of linens and kitchen utensils. We will most definitely stay here again. Can't thank you enough."
"I have been riding Southern WV trails for over dozen years and the Black Dog Ranch is the prettiest, cleanest and friendliest place I’ve stayed. It’s located on hardtop road with plenty on parking for trailers. The ranch has beautiful pastural views and super easy access to the trails. It’s fully equipped with everything from heat/ac, sat tv, charcoal grill, firewood for the pit and clean towels. Thanks Ken for the hospitality and our best trails trip ever. We all wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights. Tom"
"We stayed at the Bailey house the day after Christmas until New Year's Eve to do some riding. We had the pleasure to meet the new owner and ride several hundred miles on the trails. The house is old but comfortable. We are booked for next year after Christmas again."
"The rental, Kate's place was lovely and clean with plenty of space for a 2 bedroom mobile home with enclosed porch. The Owner, Kenneth Ross is very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. We met some great people and enjoyed an exciting and beautiful ride on the outlaw trails with Ken in the lead. His ranch has access to outlaw trails and hatfield and McCoy trails which makes it a great location. If you're ever in the Rock WV area to ride Pocahontas, Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek, or outlaw trails he has a great place to check out."
