"Great accommodations! John and Laurie are the best hosts I have dealt with. The house itself is beautiful and has been immaculately restored. It is in a prime spot right on the Jackson River Trail. If you're looking for a mountain getaway make sure to check out the Evergreen Inn!"
"Hosts Laurie and John were so kind and welcoming. We went one night, but we'd go longer next time to tube on the beautiful river and bike the path. Our room/apt was nicer than the photos even showed!! VERY comfy beds and unique design features in the apt."
"Great house, very comfortable. Literally, right across the street from the Jackson River bike path start and a white water rafting/tubing outfit. Owner's super nice. John actually allowed us to use his kayaks for an awesome 1-2 hour trip down the river. He even helped us take the kayaks down river and put in. Would highly recommend the bike path and spending time on the river. Very scenic. Very doable for an overnight trip from Richmond, VA."
"Highly, highly recommend! Our family had the most wonderful experience for a long weekend at this lovely Inn. First, it was the perfect getaway for our family. The home is beautiful. We stayed in two apartments comprising the whole first floor with lots of privacy. One of the apartments had a lovely retro '50's kitchen complete with muffins waiting on us. Secondly, the Inn is within easy walking distance of both Alleghany Outdoors, where we rented bikes and went kayaking, and the Jackson River Trail. Fabulous weekend!"
