"These fools make out to be thee definitive knife sharpeners in the area, but they're trifling. I kid you not, they are incapable of sharpening knives with unconventional shapes and also do not re-serrate. Furthermore, they do not have the knowledge or equipment to disassemble and clean a spring-assisted lock-blade knife. In other words, if you don't have a straight blade they have nothing for you. At that rate, you might as well use one of many ReSharp machines located at hardware stores in the area, which will do a better job than an aging hipster with an antique grindstone possibly could if he tried for 100 years... Shame, disgraceful."

"I have never bought high quality knives before. When I got there I was fortunate enough to meet an actual chef who taught me all the basics about all types of knives sold there. He helped me pick out some beautiful knives for my mother. I was surprised of how much the knives cost, but their prices beat all the online stores that had “sales”. I got a one knife at $249.99 + tax and the online stores were selling the a smaller version of the knife closet to $300+ tax. They were also kind enough to sharpen both my knives free of charge. The knives cut incredibly well ( Makoto Kursaki is the brand name). Definitely will be going back to pick up some more knives in the future and I’m going back to get some old knives sharpened. Update: Got my pocket knives sharpened. Definitely recommend their service."

"Brought 3 chef knives here for a sharpening. Service was fast and nice but the quality of sharpening was disappointing. I typically sharpen my knives on a series of whetstones of progressive grit and I would definitely say I’m still pretty lackluster at it, but the knives I received were less sharp than I typically pull off. I was hoping to have them finally *properly* sharpened but alas I’ll probably stick to my stones."
