"Decide to board our dog over Christmas, unfortunately our dog did not have a good time with Paws of Hope. First of all my dog got injured around the nose, not sure what happened, but we let it slide as multiple things could have happened during his stay. However we told the owner that our dog need 4 cups of food (2 cups for breakfast, 2 cups for dinner), due to being 2 cups of foods, we said to try to split the feeding into two sessions for each meals. We packed one cup foods into its own ziploc bags, I decided to packed one day extra worth of foods just incase bad weather and such. To our surprise when we picked up our dog, there were so much foods left in our bag more than one day worth of foods. It means that they did not follow our feeding instruction and underfed our dog. I understand is extremely busy during the holiday season, but we had a bad experience unfortunately will not go back."
"Needed a place to board our dog for the first time and we are so glad we let our fur baby stay at Paws of Hope. Everyone is friendly, facility is clean, and they send daily picture updates of the dogs. After looking around Harrisonburg and Charlottesville for a week, we were so happy to find a place where the dogs can play and interact in a large space for most of the day. Will recommend to my family and friends ❤️"
"I took my dogs here for grooming. Julie is awesome and caring. There were lots of dogs there for doggy daycare and they looked like they were having a blast! Kennels and play areas looked clean and well kept. Friendly people. Kind of hard to find… need better signage."
"With my busy work schedule I was searching for the best option for my 11 month old lab and I found it at Paws of Hope. Amy and John are amazing. Theo is surrounded by his new fur friends and enjoys lots of exercise and play time. He's taken such good care of which warms my heart. I'm so grateful to have found this wonderful place and cannot say enough about the incredible owners."
