"They care more about their patients than any “normal” hospital. Service 10, facilities 7 (the government needs to put some money in so that the building can be cosmetically improved). Skills 10, attitude 12!"

"After driving for almost an hour to get there they tell me my appointment is cancelled. Almost impossible to find the building you're supposed to be in. Have to try at least three locked doors before you can get in a building. Fire exits locked from the inside. Takes 15 minutes to get an actual person on the phone with all the automated garbage. UPDATE: Was told I'd have to wait NINE MONTHS just for an eye exam. At the rate I'm losing my vision I'll be blind by then. Salem VA medical center is straight up garbage"

"Rudest most unhelpful receptionist at primary care 2. Been going to the Nashville and Murfreesboro VA in Tennessee for 8 years and never had such a horrible experience."

"I have lower back pain and have had it for 20 years now. All the VA does is throw pain pills at me. I have taken every pain medication they make. I had an appointment with their Neurosurgeon, his exact words were and I quote “how long have you had this back pain Scott? About 20 years sir. Keep living with it, I’m not recommending you from surgery. “ the only reason I haven’t put a bullet in my head is because I have kids but that reason may not last long."

"They have been taking care of my medical issues since 1991. All types of care, there are some really great people who work there. If you are a Veteran of the US armed forces I highly recommend you go through the process of getting your VA rating and get the medical care you have earned."
