"I've been sitting in the emergency waiting area since 4:30 and it's now 2 am. I've had my blood drawn within the first 2 hours but no one has seen me and using the app I can see my blood work and urine isn't normal. I'm going somewhere else and going to give them my blood work results. This place is horrible I used to love this hospital not anymore. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. No wonder they get law suits."

"I haven taken my dog to the vet and gotten better service then I have here at the emergency room. For starters the staff is rude and unprofessional. Secondly I don't care how busy you it may be a patient should not be in the waiting area more than 12 hours with a document fever noted at triage and severe abdominal pain that got worst during the wait. The waiting room nurse came by one to check vitals. Every time you inquire about who much longer the wait it is your greeted with a rude response. People come to the hospital for help not to sit in the ER to die"

"I Had my baby delivered here a month ago and would definitely choose this hospital again . The nurses were so amazing and so attentive. The rooms were kept clean at all times . Clean and calm space I absolutely enjoyed the 2 days I spend here after giving birth ."

"I had surgery at the UM Med Center last March. I could not have had a better experience (if there is such a thing when having surgery). The entire staff was excellent, caring, informative and took care of me. Fortunately, I only spent one night at the facility. My family stayed close by in a hotel within walking distance which made their time spent in Baltimore less stressfull. Highly recommend this hospital."

"My sister was brought here by ambulance in severe pain. They sat her In the waiting area, (to lay on the waiting room floor)where she waited for an hour to be triage by a telehealth doctor who couldn’t examine her from a tv screen. The amount of care people receive at the hospital is sad and unfortunate. The compassion the employees have for people requiring care is 0%. They act if they hate working with sick people. If she wasn’t brought here by ambulance I would’ve risk her life to take her to another hospital. Sad to say the only people who receive adequate care her is police officers brought in due to injury they receive on duties. UPDATE: After waiting 4 hours I decided to take her to different hospital. Once I arrived she was triaged and because of her symptoms she was put in a room and hooked to a heart monitor where they noticed she had a abnormal EKG. She was having a heart attack! If we would’ve stay at UMMC my sister may have died on that waiting room floor! DO NOT EXCEPT INADEQUATE CARE FOR YOUR LOVE ONES!"
