"2 days before leaving for vacation our washer stopped working. We called the warranty company-Assurion who put us in touch with LG who sent out this company to diagnose and fix our washer. Ok Cool! The company was here for 5 minutes to diagnose and said they'd have to order the part and it would be 10 business days to receive the part. 10 days later we get a call saying the part was damaged and they had to reorder. I asked if they expedited it, and judging by the response they didn't. A week later the second part arrives and they call to schedule an appointment, did we get priority since waiting so long, NO. After waiting for our appointment they were a no show and rejecting our call back to LG. They won't answer the phone for us now either. Pick a different repair company unless you don't mind waiting a month for a repair."

"Horrible...on two occasions they failed to show during scheduled visits via Lowes; their customer service and phone etiquette is beyond unacceptable. I spoke to Riley on the phone and she kept calling me "Darlin". She raised her voice at me because I was frustrated and not accepting her excuses. Additionally she continued to cut me off when I tried to speak. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she wouldn't be back in the office till 4. I had to call repeatedly to get ahold of the office again and then when I asked to speak to the manager I was placed on hold. When she got back on the phone she just began to talk about sending my work order back even though I had asked to speak to her supervisor. When I spoke to the supervisor, Amy, she blamed Lowes and the company took no responsibility for their behavior. When I mentioned that I now understood their low rating on yelp ( and now I see Google as well) she told me I was entitled to my opinion. Clearly that is also the opinion of others who have dealt with ATES. Think twice before you use this company, they are less than desirable. I will be telling all of my friends and family about the treatment I received from this company and will NEVER use them."

"***STAY AWAY - REFERRED BY LOWES EPP - HUGE MISTAKE!!*** ATES is an authorized repair shop that Lowe's EPP uses. They were incompetent when it came to fixing my dryer and also damaged my washing machine due to their carelessness. After damaging my washer, they refused to come out to complete service on my dryer. There is a GOOD reason they have terrible reviews. Find someone else! Tuesday, Sept 5th - Initial call to Lowe's EPP for washing machine not working. Was told that ATES, Inc. would contact me and schedule an appointment no later than 08 Sept. Friday, Sept 8th- Had not heard from ATES, so I called them. Was told the earliest they could come out was 11 September. Monday, Sept 11th- ATES technician came to the house. Without even looking at the washing machine, he determined it was a bad control board and thermal switch. I was told parts would be in by the end of the week. Friday, Sept 15th- called ATES and was told parts would not be in until the following week and they could not schedule the repair appointment until the parts were received. Tuesday, Sept 19th- parts received by ATES, repair appointment scheduled for Friday, Sept 22nd. Friday, Sept 22nd- ATES technician arrives, replaces thermal switch and control board - did not fix issue. Took the new control board with them because they thought "it was faulty" and reinstalled the old control board. During the process of moving my dryer, they slammed it into the front of my washing machine, leaving a large dent. I showed the technician the dent that he caused and he apologized and said they would take care of it. Technician stated that they would order more parts when they returned to the office. I called the office to report the dented washing machine. Office told me that they would call me back once the technician returned to the office. Never received a call back. Saturday, Sept 23rd- Washing machine lid lock stopped functioning. Unable to use the washing machine. Monday, Sept 25th - Called ATES Monday morning to find out the status of ordering parts and what they were going to do about my damaged washing machine. Amy told me that the manager would call me back later that day. I called back around 4 PM and asked when I was going to receive the return call from the manager. Amy said, "Call Lowes". I asked if they were refusing to complete the repair on my dryer that they started. She replied "Call Lowes" and hung up on me!"

"ATES never showed up as an entire day taken off for repair. When we called they were rude, lied, said WE cancelled. The manager Nelson is rude, called names, and did not facilitate anything that would help a fix a broken Samsung Washer that is only 6 months old and has been re-built. This company is rude, the people are rude, ...they do not care, or listen. DO NOT USE THEM. They have NO customer service sense whatsoever. Several others have posted that they dont show up...its true...no call, no communication. Just mean, rude people. NEGATIVE rating. Not even a 1."

"I was referred to ATES by Lowes Warranty company for an appliance repair and scheduled for a diagnosis of my washing machine on August 15. Somehow I ended up not being scheduled for that day when I double checked in the morning, but they were able to diagnose my washer's problem over the phone and ordered the part. They did not get the part in until three weeks later, and set up for repair on August 12. On August 12, I was told the repairman would come between 9-3, but he didn't show. Called at 3:10PM, they said he was running behind, but would be there that day. He never came by, so I called the Lowes the next day to schedule with another person. Two days later I got a call stating how I had talked with the man who called and told him I wasn't going to be around and that I requested a reschedule. I called them out on this lie, and they said I had talked to someone else about rescheduling. I told them I had already scheduled with another company and I was canceling the repair. Just to double check with Lowes on everything, I called them. Turns out they told Lowes they showed up and I wasn't home. Someone somewhere there is lying, because we got two different stories and one washing machine that has yet to be touched by a repairman. I wouldn't hire this company to do any work, they are unreliable."
