"Stayed there as a platinum elite member and was greeted with gift bags at check in. The room and bed were nice. The bed felt amazing compared to other hotels like Marriott. They had complimentary baked cookies. Breakfast was great too with pancakes made to order and made food options."

"Very clean thanks to housekeeping, great+friendly front desk staff, Dove products in the restroom is awesome! Didn’t try breakfast but I’m sure it was great. Good location too, near many restaurants and Starbucks right next door! Keurig in the room is very nice, I hate the normal junky hotel coffee makers you have to fumble with. Plenty of outlets and USB ports Thanks!! Highly recommend for a clean simple stay"

"The location was super convenient to where we needed to be. The front desk people were nice. They do have the large bottles of refillable items in the bathroom like the shampoo, conditioner, hand soap etc and that creeps me out but that’s a personal opinion of mine and always bring my own stuff anyway.. it’s a Holiday inn express, I’m not expecting anything luxurious! But I had to write this review because of the beds!! Luckily we only stayed a night but we got zero sleep. The mattress was like sleeping on a bed of quick sand. There was not an ounce of firmness to the mattress. If that’s your preference, stay here but in our opinion it was the worst hotel mattress we have ever experienced! Even my eleven year old was like this is not an actual bed, it’s a trap! We also only had one blackout curtain, the other one was missing but it didn’t matter because we were awake anyway!"

"I stayed for my Christmas vacation and everything was wonderful and convenient. The rooms were very clean and all the staff were awesome and customer service was definitely on point. The breakfast buffet was nice and my favorite was the Christmas hot chocolate table perfect for an evening treat. I would definitely stay again whenever I am in Richmond."

"Stayed here overnight during a quick trip to Richmond. It's in a great location. Seems to be fairly new. The room and very nice and spacious. Well maintained and clean. The bed was oh so comfy. Once you lie down, it feels as though the bed cradles you. Talk about a good night's sleep. The only disappointing thing I would say is the washcloths. They are toilet paper thin and hard. If you like plush towels and washcloths, travel with your own, which I mistakenly forget. Overall, it was a great night stay."
