Knights Inn Richmond at W Broad St

"My husband, kids,, and I booked this hotel last minute due to a family illness.. 1/14-1/17 Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 1. When we got there the lady at the front desk was full on arguing with a guest. 2. Staff was extremely rude. 3. Asked for extra pillows because they literally gave us 3 paper thin pillows for 2 beds and was told they didn't know if they had any extra. Finally brought us 2 more but I ended up going to buy 2 as well as 2 towels because I was afraid to ask for more(Gave us 1 towel) 3. Charged extra for my husband being there. 4. Most uncomfortable beds I've ever "slept" in, I use the term slept lightly because I barely could sleep. 5. Place reeked of Marijuana and cigarettes even though we were in a non smoking building. 6. We were not notified that a truck would be there fixing the sign, so we were blocked in and couldn't leave for 2 hours. 7. The so called breakfast is toast and cereal, that's it. Nothing else."

"The Knights Inn took my $50 deposit ,as well as my daily fee for violating the smoking policy. However, we never smoked in the room, the smoke detector didn't go off , they never seen us smoking, and they never showed any evidence of us smoking in the room. I will definitely file a claim with the courts to get my money reimbursed to me, as well as a number of other things that will possibly get this hotel condemned , or they will pay far more than what they illegally took from me , without ANY DUE PROCESS..."

"No stars ! Hospitality was awful, had a hole in the ceiling right above the refrigerator and microwave which when we returned our 3rd night the floor was soaked and my boyfriend slipped on . Their solution was to move us to a different room and the next morning they threatened to call police on us if we didn’t hurry and check out . We told them to call the police so we could let them know the hazardous conditions and the office attempted to keep our deposit because of this. Definitely will not let this situation go. Do not stay there!!! We did ask for a refund and they told us to wait till the morning to ask again. It was never offered."

"Zero stars is my true rating. I didn't have high expectations for the price but this place is downright nasty. Stains and nasty stuff all over the walls, furniture, mini fridge you name it. The furniture is falling apart, the climate control unit is half falling off and disgusting. The halls to the rooms have random discarded furniture all over. I found it comical at check in the stress put on the reasoning for a deposit and no pets or smoking, really? That's the least of your worries in this dump. Housekeeping if it exists clearly only makes the beds and maybe takes the trash. The trash cans had no liners and were too disgusting. Two bed room had three of the oldest nastiest pillows one without a pillow case. I don't know what standard they follow but in my opinion there isn't one at all. The pictures don't capture the nastiest"

"The hotel is in OK price thankfully we are in the 2nd building of four all the pictures are from the first building. Ours are from the second where we stayed, no bugs but the headboard was not attached to the wall. The remote is gross. There is chunks of stuff in the air unit Its broken the vents are clogged full of who knows what, phone completely disconnected no cable for it to be found anywhere, TV didn’t have much channels probably 2. missing drawers and stained filthy dresser and end table, a weird white substance in the corner of the room broken lock. no fire alarm or sprinklers. The bathroom floor was dirty shower was very clean thankfully but the sink was dirty and the toilet seat was broken with a half a roll of toilet paper. For a room with 2 full beds we were given 1 washcloth and 1 small towel for 2 occupants. There were stains on the sheets but after a full inspection no signs of bedbugs. The mattress box was dirty and gross."
