Gilliam's Heating & Cooling

"Two stars for availability at the time. Replaced internal fan as Gilliam’s said the fan had glitches and was going backwards ; asked if I wanted name brand or generic replacement, to save money I picked generic. Installed in a few days. No change in system after replacement. Called and left messages, no response from Gilliam’s. Called another company to check for issues; needed it fixed before the temperatures became hot. Informed by the other company that the “generic replacement fan is not new. After testing the system and crawling under the house, come to find out the ductwork had partially fallen causing the decreased airflow. Fixed! Super disappointed to be taken advantage of by Gilliam’s. Bad business."

"I just want to thank Wayne and everyone at Gilliam's for taking care of us. We had a major gas leak and have been trying to get it fixed since last week. Tried several different places that kept giving us the run around. A friend of mine suggested I give Gilliam's a call. I'm so thankful I did. Within an hour or so of calling Wayne came out to assess the situation and got us on the schedule to get the issue fixed. They came and fixed the original issue the gas company came across and uncovered another leak under our house and fixed that too. We are so thankful. Would recommend this company to anyone."

"Called them late on a Sunday,, and someone actually answered the phone!!!They came the very next day, responding quickly, & addressed the problem effortlessly!Turned out to be a simple fuse replacement. Zach took the time to explain everything he was doing, and what I could check for myself in the future. Would recommend Gilliam's Heating & Cooling every time! They are wonderful, professional, and priced fairly. Update*****11/10/2022 We had some pretty weather. My house is insulated very well. It got very warm in my home. I went to turn the AC on to cool us down a bit. But it wouldn't turn on. Gilliam's sent Wayne right on over and he has us up and running in about 15 minutes! Awesome guys!!!!"

"I initially talked to Wayne who I believe is very competent but 2 other younger guys did the install, one being new and in training. The following day after the install the 90 from the heat pump supply line that they had to attach to the main trunk line just blew off. It was unprofessionally attached but I called Wayne and he immediately came out and fixed it. He said he would send someone back to insulate it but its been nearly 3 months and I have called twice about it but they seem to not be too interested in finishing the job. They also need to replace a small piece of sheet metal behind the unit. After further inspection the new return line was just slipped over the stub of the old one and secured with one plastic strap. This is also not acceptable as it is very loose and this line could blow off just as well. I have waited nearly 3 months for them to come back and make things right before writing this review but seeing as how thats not going to happen I decided to go ahead. Another thing, I had to call back 3 times just to get them to mail me the warranty as they had to register the unit first and this took 2 and a half months. I was looking for someone dependable as I have 3 heat pumps at my home and several others at rental homes, but guess who will not be doing any future heat pump related work for me? I hate that I had to write this but they have had ample time and facts are facts. Only deal with this business if Wayne does the work, otherwise I would look elsewhere. Update:. They finally did come back out and finish the work, 4 months later. Still dont understand why it took so long. It only took them roughly an hour to finish. I would have upgraded the rating but they are lacking in the communication department."

"My Mother is elderly and lives on a fixed income. Gilliam's provided outstanding repair services on her heat pump at a great price. They were extremely competent and very friendly, she will continue to use their services. Nice job!"
