"I pulled over due to bad weather. This was nearby so I checked in for the night. Wow! What a beautiful place. And fabulous staff. They closed the restaurant a bit early due to low occupancy, but not until we had dinner. And the food was Great."

"No matter what Val said, she is in it for herself . My husband and I reserved a room,Deluxe, in the main building. When he arrived at the room(212),upon opening the door, he turned on the light, and to his surprise, the bed was not made, towels missing,used coffee cup on the sink, back to the desk he went. Gave us a new room(214),clean, but the heater vent vibration was so loud we could hear it all the way to the elevator. January night temps. in the 30's. The room was near the end of the hallway. The desk clerk gave us a space heater. Nice, thank you, but, though it didn't work when we plugged it in unless we held the nob down, plus the outlets were loose and cut out. Dangerous. Makes we wonder if housekeeping helps maintenance with workorders. SMH New room. 10:30 pm Three rooms in one night, very unlikely we will visit again."

"The hotel has a lot of history and is very close to the natural bridge. I felt that the breakfast was very tasty. We had drinks and dinner in the Red fox tavern too, the bartender Jen is great at mixing drinks, I just told her my favorite flavor and she served up a lovely drink. I will surely come back here."

What makes it stand out is its unbeatable location – it shares a plaza with the Natural Bridge Park. Imagine waking up, strolling out of your hotel, and walking right into the park early in the morning. No lines, no hassle, just a peaceful start to your exploration. The hotel itself has a certain historic charm. It feels a bit like stepping back in time, although it’s clear the building is more modern than it seems. It’s this blend of old-world charm and modernity that gives it character, though I think a few touch-ups here and there could enhance its appeal even further. The idea of giving it a castle-like makeover is quite intriguing – it would surely draw more visitors. Regarding the accommodations, the rooms are clean and spacious, and I had no issues with the bathrooms either. I particularly enjoyed the balconies – they offer a nice spot to relax and take in the surroundings. While the hotel might benefit from some updates to really boost its historic charm, it still earns a solid five-star review from me. Its convenience for park visitors and overall comfort make it a place I'll return to. If you’re looking for a stay that combines easy access to local attractions with a taste of history, this is the place for you."

"We were staying at the The Inn at Forest Oak and they suggested this place. We came in and it was a very slow rainy night so we had the whole place to ourselves. To our delight the food was great and the prices were respectable. Oh, the staff was so kind to us."
