"They were assigned to replace a water heater by AHS, my home warranty company. They sent me an invoice for $900+ before ever coming out to look at my house, and when I asked for detailed estimate, they disappeared. Now AHS won’t assign another contractor to replace my water heater because they already paid Brick Street for a job that was never started. Horrible customer service and crooked company."

"Horrible customer service! They cracked my sliding glass door threshold cover taking the old water heater out and bringing the new water heater in. When I brought it to Brickstreet's attention, they refused to repair it. They said I needed to have before pictures to prove it. Who takes before pictures of every space in their home? Once we noticed the cracked cover, we informed them that it was not cracked before they came. After 6 attempts to get them to come back and replace a less than $20 threshold cover, they still refused. Horrible customer service! Watch them if they come into your home. I know the technician had to have heard the crack when the water heater rolled over the threshold and likely got caught in the groove as he was maneuvering it.They are not honest about damages they cause."

"We were forced to work with them by American Home Shield. We weren't even able to get an itemized invoice and upon a second opinion, the work Brick Street said was mandatory wasn't and was just a way for them to get as much money from us and AHS as possible. We decided to not even go through with the work since we can't even trust them to call us back, and looking at the other reviews, it seems like that was the right decision. They overcharge and don’t deliver and I wish there was a way to tell American Home Shield to find a new plumbing contractor. I feel so sorry for the people who have been forced to work with this company. The only good thing I have to say is the young man who came out to our house to access was very friendly and timely. Based on the incredibly high turnover, I hope he gets away from this company soon."

"Eli and Joe did an outstanding job in replacing my hot water heater (gas). They were timely, professional and highly knowledgeable about task at hand. They kept me informed throughout the process and walked me through the inner workings of the tank and recommendations for annual maintenance. The cherry on top was that they also provided a carbon monoxide alarm as an added protection. Highly recommended!"

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Brick Street Plumbing installed a hot water heater in 1/2020. Unbeknownst to us, it was installed improperly and not up to code and was never inspected after install. It stopped working last week and the same company came out. We were told by the technician that it was an extremely poor and unsafe install job. The fan was not properly attached (they attached it using duct tape) and therefore the fan wasn't pulling the air out properly which caused the pilot light to flare up causing burns on the outside of the tank and a seared pilot light window. The pipes that take the carbon monoxide out were not even sealed and can be pulled apart and was leaking carbon monoxide. The wrong glue was used as well. We contacted Brick Street Plumbing to ask them to rectify this situation and were told we would be charged $400 for them to install a new hot water heater (which is still under warranty and the manufacturer has already agreed to replace it). We told them that we are not paying $400 to install a new hot water heater when the original one was not installed up to code and was dangerous for us to be living with. They now will refuse to take my phone calls (I have phone records) or call me back. Every time I call I'm told I need to speak with Shiloh who is always unavailable and has yet to call me back. We have been without hot water for over a week now and have two small children. This is completely unethical and has put my family is a bad situation with no water and their unwillingness to remedy the situation."
