"I have been an avid equestrian for most of my life. So, needless to say, I've had my share of injuries. I first came to OC many years ago with pain so severe in my left hip, I could barely walk. My pain level was at a constant 10!! After finding Dr Whelan, I gradually began to walk straight again and gained back strength so I could function. I love her bedside manner and great staff also. In 2021 I caught Covid and was hospitalized for 2 months and given a 9% chance of survival. Most of my body had atrophied in those 2 months of being bedridden and on a ventilator for 10 days. And once again I couldn't walk. Home PT got me walking again, but my muscles and nerves were so damaged and weak, I still couldn't function properly. So after I was able to drive again, I went straight back to Dr. Eileen! And no surprise to me, she has gotten me back in shape once again. She's my hero for sure!! Thanks to her wonderful treatments and web exercises, I feel better than I have in a very long time.. I love the office staff , what a great team of caring individuals!! My body hurt. Dr. Eileen listened to my concerns, she did an initial consult, addressed each concern. Dr. Eileen made treatment recommendations/plan. Explained in detail, recommended exercises, modified to fit my needs, showed me how to do them correctly. Dr. Eileen calls them baby steps. It's working. I've been going several months now.
