"Take my daughter here a lot. Pretty nice place ground but could use a facelift and some rubber mulch or rubber matting like the new small playground has above the new food city in Abington."
"My daughter is 18 months and we were told by a lifeguard that we could not accompany her into the kitty pool, that she had to go in by herself and we could sit on the side of the kitty pool and watch her. She’s 1 1/2 years old….she needs assistance. All to later on be told by 2 different individual life guards that we could absolutely assist her in the kitty pool that it was no problem at all. After we had to make her stay on the side of the pool while she cried because she wanted to walk in the actual middle of the pool and play with the other children. NOT TO MENTION after the 3pm break the kitty pool was busier than it had been all day, and there was no life guard at their post. One life guard had to LITERALLY RUN across from the other side of the pool where the slides are to blow the whistle at a child that was in the kitty pool. Unreal to me."
"Great spot for working out or family fun. Huge playground, skate/bmx park, disc golf, two swimming pools, volleyball, tennis and hiking trails. Only negative is the open hours lately are hit or miss"
"I’m a local, so I use the Rec Center a lot! The outdoor trail around the property is great for a run, and the indoor pool is awesome in the winter. Pickle ball courts and outdoor volleyball are great amenities too. If you have little kids, the playground is the best in the area, and there’s a skate park for the big kids. If you’re a family visiting, this is a great spot for some activity between attractions!"
"Because it was everything the advertisement said it was and the the young staff was exemplary. Swimming pools are very well kept up and they have numerous activities 4 anyone 2 do and give a special thanks 2 lifeguard Jordan because he was outstanding."
