"Movie theaters are already pricey. So we at least expected the service and food to be good but after three visits, it appears to be the norm. And the cleanliness of the theaters, bathrooms and lobby were very subpar."

"AMC movie theaters always seem to take pride in producing a great experience for its customers, this theater is no exception. The concessions are overpriced, the same as in every movie theater, the popcorn is always fresh. They do a good job keeping the place clean between showings."

"The movie experience is 5 stars. Even for the basic digital screen the sound is rich and booming. Seating are all recliners with ample arm space, and the staff is friendly. One star off for location. Crusty parking lot, no immediately close restaurants. Another star off for clientel. They are on both extremes. On the far right there are racist, old, white people; (one made an ugly comment in my direction despite me being an active duty soldier and native, but all he saw was a brown person and brown=bad I guess). He was wearing American flag paraphenalia. No doubt emboldened by just walking out of The Sound of Freedom. On the far left; there was a male in the women's restroom. He was trying to grow his hair out, but it was obvious by his towering height and build it was definitely a dude. Wierd. Like the theatre, but will not be coming back to watch movies unless with a group."

"This is my favorite movie theater on the Hampton Roads Peninsula. It has an IMAX theater, and all (or most) of the theaters have reclining seats. The snack bar offers quite a few options, so if you haven’t eaten a real meal before your movie, you can get more than just candy, nachos or popcorn. The staff is helpful and polite, and the bathrooms are quite clean. Even though this theater is getting older, for the most part, it’s aging well!"
