"I don’t know what we would do without our Goddard. Being a working parent is difficult for a million reasons, but I’ve never had to worry about my kids when I know they’re in great hands. My 3 year old wants to go to school every day and never wants to leave. She talks about her teachers in the same way that she talks about our family because to her they are just as much a part of her life, maybe even more. They take illness seriously, which is important for my toddler with an immune disorder, and notify me whenever something is amiss-even if it doesn’t require a pick up but they know I would want to know. Because that’s just it, they know. They know me and they know us. My daughters aren’t just two of many. They treat my kids and my family as individuals. That’s more than you can truly ask for in a center."

"Please be aware that in my one isolated experience this daycare did not show any tolerance, understanding, or willingness to work with my child. Especially if your child is not neurotypical, consider other options in the area for a daycare that has more experience. My 4 year old son was expelled on his second day at the school for being aggressive and hitting his teacher. This incident occurred two days after the stress of moving to a new house, and three days after he attended the funeral of his great-grandfather which was the first time that the concept of death was explained to him. The teacher either did not ask or was unable to communicate to us the reason why my son was upset. Furthermore, on request the director of the school was unable to provide us any context at all about the circumstances before, during, or after our son was aggressive. My son clearly explained to me the first time I asked him why he hit his teacher. He was angry because he could not understand why no one would give him the blanket that he was accustomed to sleeping with at nap time. Obviously my child hitting the teacher was not an appropriate response to this situation, but he is also a 4 year old. I think it is a problem that the school's only course of action in this instance was to expel the child and was either not capable or otherwise not willing to communicate with either my child or his parents after an issue occurred on the second day he attended the school."

"The Goddard School in Ashland is more than a daycare/preschool! They treat your family like one of their own. I am so thrilled to have found this school to meet my children’s needs especially during this 2020 Covid year. They make sure to have cleanliness and safety as their number one priority. The owners, Dave and Laurel, are the kindest people I have met and are involved with the staff and families. This school is a hidden gem within the Hanover community and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a higher education facility for their children."

"Every time I walk in I feel welcomed by the staff and my daughter LOVES going to school here. It feels clean and it feels like a fun place to be. She loves her teachers and I love that they really seem to know her. They keep a portfolio of her progress so I can really see how she's doing and how she's reaching her milestones. Her teachers are also great about addressing any behavioral issues they see and making sure their corrections are in line with what we are doing at home. I LOVE the Goddard School, I wish I could go there all day instead of going to work :-)"
