"This theatre is a hidden gem. You will be surprised to see how well they have maintained the theatre. If you are looking for an inexpensive outing for the family, this is the perfect place. The admission fee and concession stand prices were $1 each. Yes, you've read that correctly. $1 per person, and $1 per popcorn, candy, and soda. (Premium brands such as Pepsi, Twizzlers, Sour Patch, and Resse's) Note: The only drawback is... you will not be presented with new movies. Here, you will find previous releases from DreamWorks studios and more. Other theatrical events are held here as well, but my family did not have a chance to experience those yet. I'd highly recommend you stop by and visit. Added benefit of the day was the staff's welcoming attitude and great customer service."
"Attended a wonderful event here. I had not been on this theatre in YEARS. The seating was comfortable. The audio,video, and lighting was done well. This historic space definitely has a vibe. It's part museum, part community meeting space. Upstairs has a room for gathering. I loved the gentlemen and ladies lounges! Very Art Deco!"
"This is an excellent little (400 seat) venue in the East End. Cool art deco design with comfortable seats and good sound. We saw the lovely and talented Susan Greenbaum and band and were very pleased with the entire event. No adult beverages were served, but I was told that the theater type snacks are reasonably priced, unlike many theaters."
