"New to Regal. Downloaded the app and became a member. Went to buy 2 discounted tickets for Tues night through the app and was not able to buy without paying full price plus a convenience fee. Went to the theater and asked the lady at the customer service desk. She directed us to the concession stand employees. We asked them how to purchase them through the app and they said we needed to just buy them in person. So I'm not able to buy tickets and choose seats ahead of time through the app at a discount? That doesn't seem right. Either the employees are not at all educated on their jobs or the app needs some major upgrading to bring it into the 21st century. The only thing listed under the Food category in the app was nachos so that needs upgrading as well. Other than that, the theater was clean, the seats were comfy, and the popcorn was delicious."
"I've been a patron for 2 decades and have seen a lot of changes...some for the worse, some for the best. So far in 2023 it's been good. The chairs are comfortable and clean, the facility is typically clean and the staff is nice. I miss purchasing tickets at the booth but realize a lot has changed since 2020, so DIY it is. The theatre boasts stadium seating with large screens and excellent sound. Some theatres seemed to have an issue with air conditioning so a few times it was a bit stuffy but not enough to complain. The food & beverage options are great, they offer an option to order from your phone and pick up. I found that pickup could be a bit wonky during busy times and you may get ignored ( I was ignored by a manager while waiting so there's an opportunity to get better there). All in all, good theatre."
"5/5 stars for Regal Commonwealth Cinemas. We took in a matinee showing of Haunted Mansion. First stop was concessions where we loaded up on popcorn, snacks and beverages for the show. We found our seats in auditorium 17. Seats were comfy and had ample room. Sound was excellent throughout the theater."
"The cleanest, most modern Regal location in the greater Richmond area. The staff was incredibly helpful as well. A new favorite."
