"I've been practicing different martial arts for years and going to many different schools. Chantilly mma at first looks unassuming, there's just mats, not much equipment, but everything there is useful. But the real reason this school gets 5 stars is the quality of instruction and environment coach Sugi creates. While most bjj schools are good in this regard, I've noticed there are some bjj schools that are susceptible to creating a toxic environment amongst their students compared to other martial arts gyms. But not this place, coach Sugi is just so laid back, calm and methodical when he explains the techniques. The students are all kind and accepting, they help me work through the moves and are very patient and don't carry a big ego. Coach Sugi could hold his classes outside at a grassy park and it would still be a 5 star gym simply because of the quality of instruction. If you are in this area and want to pick up jujitsu, judo, or mauy Thai. I can't stress how much of a hidden gym this school is."
