24 Hour Fitness

"Take a look around before signing up. Most of the equipment is broken and corporate “doesn’t have the budget to fix it”, yet they are making record profits by still reducing their pool and sauna hours “due to Covid concerns”. HVAC system is messed up and dripping condensate water off of the ducts into literal puddles. Tonight 3/6 stair masters were broken, sauna broken, 50% of bikes were broken and have been for 6 months, and many of the treadmills do not take pulse or adjust incline. Many cable machines broken. Also, people go over to the free weights and use literally FOUR sets of dumbbells at a time at 5:30, the busiest time of the day. See for yourself. That being said, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful."

"Mold all over 2 corners! AC is not working or turned on high enough despite many complaints over months (80 F 1/7/24)!! Dues were raised by a lot, but no apparent improvements. Pool and Jacuzzi are old and stained. Several TV's not on for months, despite being notified. The fitness class lighting is depressing, with no windows. We've been loyal members even through the pandemic closure that was poorly handled (lasted way longer than promised without notice to members; we had 0 update). Love the saunas, location, nice front staff, basketball court, and app. If it weren't for the proximity to our home, I would love to cancel. Actually, this AC issue might lead us to drive further to a Onelife."

"I had a day pass to try out their amenities and make my decision if I wanted to join this club. After being declined the use of this pass and being treated poorly, I have not one good thing to say about this poorly managed location. I had a membership with the Burke location and have always received excellent service. As soon as I approached the counter and started speaking to the Hispanic male an African American gentleman interrupted me and said: “Nope!” I looked at him and asked “No what?” As he replied: “Nothing, he will explain” and proceeded to point at the gentleman I was originally speaking to. I hope this serves as an experience to upper management to micromanage this type of individuals who help DECREASE their clientele instead of helping business grow."

"New Years Resolution for 24 Hour Fitness: clean your filthy club! The dirt even has dirt on it, trash is always on the floor, and the machines look like they have never been cleaned. Piles of body hair at the bottom of many machines. Disgusting. Being an inexpensive club doesn’t justify 24 Hour Fitness neglecting basic cleanliness."

"This gym is not a good place to workout. It is persistently overcrowded and always packed, which makes nearly impossible to have a good workout. The gym equipment scattered around the exercise area and people due overcrowding held on it; thus, preventing anyone using it. The overcrowding and oversold membership is so bad, that many times, there is no available parking. The overcrowding causes an aggressive behavior, where members do scream, argue, and shout at each other and I have witnessed a brawl. The police is there quite often. The time when the gym is not packed, is between midnight and early in the morning. However, there are some homeless people who hang out in that parking lot late at night, which does not create a safe environment. The broken car glasses around the lot is not encouraging to park there. The gym itself has a decent amount of workout station, and dumbbells, but good luck to utilize them unless you are willing to wait up to an hour for a group of people to release it for others to use."
