"Went to buy shoes at Rack Room and Shoe Carnival. Both carry pretty much the same major brands. Prices are the same for the brand I wanted. One store had my size, so they got the sale. (By the way, I checked AMAZON prices for the same shoe. It was the same price. Good, I can support local businesses). Remember, Amazon doesn't always beat local merchants. Check before you buy. That free shipping isn't free. It has to be tucked into the price,but it isn't always the case."
