"Warning! Very steep entrance. Wooden bridge, mud, hard water that smells like sulfur. Several other issues. They charge about twice as much as the going rate for this area. I should have kept looking for another place. Hind sight is 2020."

"You can take your dogs bit better have a muzzle on them got onto us about our dog barking just a little bit. If didn't want them to bark shouldn't have them in there man said it was a peaceful campground."

"The campground is small and has a nice game room. The showers are awful. They smell of rust and have very little pressure. There are bugs everywhere in the shower house. The cabin is basically a restored storage shed. No sink or anything in it besides bed and a very small fridge for $119 a night. The owner is on a power trip. My son was in the game room. They have a coin machine that allows you to win some coins if the rake pushes it down. If you lean or touch the machine, an alarm goes off. It happened multiple times a day. My son had one of his quarters get stuck so he shook the machine. The owner went nuts. He said he was calling the cops and my son will be arrested. My son was terrified all week. He wouldn't even go near the room or the front office. My son was wrong for shaking the machine but the way it was handled was crazy. Plus, the pool stated it was heated. It was not! The owner admitted her turned off the heater to save money. No activities or anything going on. We were planning on swimming but it was so cold! I wouldn't go back!"

"In my opinion this is one of the best campgrounds. And it is one of the best kept secrets in Wythe County. They have the best camping facilities. Huge Arcade, Swimming Pool, Fish Lake, Multiple Playgrounds, Wading Streams, Store. Firewood, what more can I say except the owners are right there on the spot. They have nice bath and showers. Located off Interstate I-81 and I-77 like 10 Minutes. If you are passing through then you have to make this a go to campground"

"Best Campground we've stayed at yet. Everything to do from swimming to hiking then to top it off they have a wonderful game room. Owners are nice and don't bother you at all. Our little family had a blast. I give it a 5!!"
