"This past weekend I stayed at the AirBnB Darlene offers at the EarthWalk Retreat. Darlene met me upon arrival and explained everything I might need to know about her retreat. There was a Fire and Drum Circle held at the retreat which I was able to participate in. Darlene hosts many community activities at her retreat including the Fire and Drum Circle. Everyone is welcome to join in, Darlene has many drums and other instruments she shares at the circle. Darlene led a circle of strangers to become friends through drumming and sharing. We learned about the history of drumming circles, some basic drumming beats, and shared a bit about ourselves while passing the talking stick. The Morning meditation down by the stream as the dawn emerged was magical. Which was Followed by tea and snacks. And then, Darlene and I had some time for deeper discussion. Darlene was attentive to my needs and created a retreat catered to my specific spiritual growth. EarthWalk Retreat is truly a place where one can retreat from the “noise” of life and return to peace. The work done at the retreat is carried within my heart, so when I find myself amidst the “noise” of life, struggling, I can recall my time at EarthWalk Retreat. The peace in my heart echoes my peace found there and once again, walk in peace. I hope you also find the beauty and healing of the EarthWalk Retreat."

"I love every chance I get to visit Earthwalkways in Fredericksburg. It has been my getaway when I have felt the need of a nature fix since 2009! I've attended drumming circles and sweat lodges many times. I really love the sweat lodges! I usually stay in Darlene's camper accommodation set up out in the woods of her property, I enjoy the rustic nature seclusion, but have also stayed in the main house guest room many times. I've been there during all seasons. I think my favorite was during a time I became snowed in for an extended visit. It was an incredible winter wonderland and Darlene was, and always is, a wonderful host! It has been a place of healing for me that I am so thankful for. Thank you Darlene!"
