"We order a new couch and the couch had a promise date of the 3/21. On the 20th we got rid of our old one to make room for the new one. From what I was told there was going to be a call to setup a date. Call didn't come until 3/22 9am, on this call they said the earliest date they could bring me the couch would be the 30th... I wish they knew how much of a pain this is. I took off work for the 21st to wait for this delivery. My husband works in the navy so he can't be home during the day. Also it is an annoyance to not have a couch with a young child. I called them back after I talked to my husband and he said see if we can just go pick it up. Who knew that someone has to have get the okay from a manager in AK to come pick up an item. Also I do have to say the phone linked to this location doesn't work so I can't even contact them directly. All I can say is this has been a very very poor experience."

"Earliest delivery time set two weeks from when I ordered. A call was made the day before to set the time for delivery. No show. Thanks for wasting my time."

"Positive Update: There have been multiple calls from supervisors at JB Hunt this morning with apologies for the ultimate collapse in their system as previously described: no show; no call. They seem sincere in their efforts to identify the problem and to prevent its recurrence. My rug is due to be delivered tomorrow Tuesday, not Friday, which was the previous best offer. For this appropriate disaster recovery, I will change the rating from two stars to four. Very poor performance. JB Hunt is the company chosen by Ballard Designs to deliver a rug that I ordered. Hunt arranged a delivery time, Friday 12:30-4:30 pm. After rearranging my room to receive the rug and rearranging my schedule to receive the delivery, I waited. And waited. No phone call or notice from Hunt. After numerous calls to Hunt headquarters in Arkansas, at 9:00 pm I was told that the truck from the delivering facility in Norfolk VA had been stuck in traffic, unable to make my delivery and 4 others on the truck. The only remedy from JB Hunt was to schedule another delivery attempt for Friday, a week later, when they are in my area. By the way, the Norfolk facility for JB Hunt is 50 miles from my house -- a one-hour drive door-to-door."
