"We chose Boleman Law based on the reviews so I want to make sure the public knows that our experience IS NOT good. The initial meeting with Attorney Josh went well. He advised that since we were not renewing our current lease we should get a new place lined up before filing because Property Managers would not look favorably on an applicant that recently filed bankruptcy. We did so and had a move in date for a couple weeks from the date we filed. When we went to file our bankruptcy there was a different attorney involved who was very vocal about how frustrated he was with the many errors in our paperwork and we had to provide all our documentation a second time. During that appointment it came up that we were moving and gave the new address. He DID NOT ask if we already moved or give any further information. Come to find out in 2 weeks once we moved that the bankruptcy DID NOT cover the early termination fees for the old apartment which are OVER $4,000!!! When we asked Boleman to fix this they only said "sorry we can't do anything, if you had filed bankruptcy AFTER turning in your keys this would have been covered". When asked why didn't they advise us of this all they could say was "Sorry, we assumed you already moved"!! We do not know how this process goes, we trusted Boleman to advise and guide us and now we have a HUGE bill that they will not help us with. And we have been constantly disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of guidance. We feel totally unprotected by using Boleman Law and I would not recommend anyone use their Richmond location. Maybe the other locations are run better."
