"Our kids have been students with Ms. Tristi since December 2019. When the pandemic hit in spring 2020, honestly the lessons did not skip a beat. We converted to virtual lessons which worked really well for that period of time. There were other parents I knew where their kids had to drop lessons during the pandemic since their teachers were not tech savvy. We are looking forward to the lessons in the new studio space! What drew me initially to SK Piano Academy/piano division of CSOM were the group pics of all the students for each recital. I wanted my kids to be in the collage too! It was nice to see the school grow to what it is now. Mr. Simeon is great too! I appreciate that he brought the element of piano competitions as an option to further challenge students to grow. Though my kids don’t take lessons from him, he would always give encouraging remarks at recitals after hearing our kids play. Ms. Tristi is great! Very kind, easy going, and encouraging. It was the right kind of teaching style for my kids. Many times she would introduce new pieces to my kids and I sometimes would think that my kids were not at the level to play that harder piece, but I ended up getting surprised finding somehow they can actually eventually play it! I guess good teachers just know what their students are capable of and how to challenge them further! Thank you for all you do!"

"My daughter originally attended the school for guitar but quickly made the switch to piano with Mr.Austin. I could write pages on how amazing he has been with her during her lessons. He is patient, kind, caring, and goes just the right pace for her needs. He is so encouraging and keeps her on task throughout the lesson. We will always recommend this school to anyone who wants to get into music."

"I really cannot say enough good things about this school. My 5 year old daughter has been with Jessica for almost 1 year now. She has participated in multiple recitals. They give performance opportunities often and consistently. Communication with Jessica is always on point and prompt (as well as with the owners). The facility is so well done, clean, and put together. Absolutely perfect for a music lessons studio. All teachers that I have interacted with are extremely kind, talented, and helpful. So very thankful to be apart of this CSofM family."

"This school is amazing! Can't say enough good things about it. My 6 year old daughter takes piano with Jessica. She was a little shy when she first started but Jessica has been great with bringing her out of her shell and building her confidence. My daughter loves her and the energy she brings to class! My 9 year old takes guitar lessons with Austin who is great as well! There can be a lot of struggle first starting out with guitar and he's always patient and makes an effort to teach her music that my daughter enjoys and is excited about. Highly recommend this place!"

"Been attending this school for my 7 year old since before the merge. I absolutely have nothing but amazing things to say about every single one of the owners + instructors. Simeon and Tim are hands down some of the most caring and amazing people you will ever meet. They truly care about your child’s life and progress. We have Austin as an instructor for piano, we originally used him for guitar but my daughter wanted to make the switch and he so with ease. He is so patient and kind with her. Nothing but positive things to say to her, always so encouraging to her. I will never recommend any other music school anywhere else in Hampton roads to any of my friends or family. Absolutely love this place!"
