"I got a pair of jeans hemmed and my favorite pair of slacks taken in at the waist down, because they were too loose (apparently 4”) on me. The jeans were perfect length when I picked it up, but the slacks needed further adjustment - which Kelly turned around in a day. I am thoroughly satisfied with both pieces now. I would say Kelly’s services are on the pricier side but certainly worth it if you want flawless tailoring for your favorite pieces."

"I have had a handful of formal dresses tailored here and have always been extremely happy with the work and the pricing. The woman I've worked with has taken a dress down more than one size and reshaped the bodice of a couple of dresses. I'm so impressed with her work, I really trust her completely to take great care with my garments and make them perfect for any event. Earlier this year they did alterations to a bridesmaids dress that turned out so beautifully, and now that the wedding is over I dropped the dress off to have it shortened so I can keep wearing it! Highly recommend!"

"I needed a few alterations done on my wedding dress and a friend recommended I go to The Tailor Shop. She did such an amazing job! And it was so quick too! The prices were on par with other quotes I had received, which was more than reasonable. Got a four layer wedding dress with complex 3d lace hemmed, bustle added, and sleeves adjusted to fit for $350! All in a week's time. Worth. Every. Penny. "Kelly is undoubtedly the best tailor I have ever worked with. Her talent and attention to detail continually impresses me, even after 11 years of bringing my clothes to her. Most recently, I brought her my wedding dress which had been ruined by poor alterations done by a luxury wedding dress store in D.C. Not only did she drastically improve the fit, she also managed to fix the botched alterations. Most impressively, she did all of this in one day. My wedding was out of town and in two days, yet she worked her magic to pull off a miracle. Kelly cares about her work and takes pride in it, all while providing outstanding customer service. There is no one else who could have helped me like she did for my wedding dress and I am so grateful for her excellent service. Prior to finding this shop, I tried a variety of alterations stores and was always disappointed. Kelly has never disappointed me and has my complete trust. "I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at The Tailor Shop. I was super stressed because I realized 3 months before my wedding that my original dress didn’t (and wouldn’t) fit. I had to get a new dress and everyone *else* I spoke with was kind of condescending or was trying to charge me unaffordable rush fees... but, I was treated with such compassion here! The owner insisted to me that it would be taken care of in plenty of time, and he flawlessly delivered on that promise. Obviously very experienced and just so overwhelming kind.
