"Hated Linton Hall Military School and their summer camp, some of my childhood's worst memories. 1973 - 75ish"

"For the memories that I have; it was then a military academy. Commandant Ducharme was in charge. I have yet to hear if they still have yearbooks or anything from that time. I drive by there all the time, and I remember eating orange creamsicles on the parade deck. I remember Sunday mornings and I remember shining the boots. Reveille was always too early; Taps never came soon enough. To all those who attended before and after me; God Bless"

"Horrible school. The staff bring down your child self esteem. When your family in need because of hardship. They kick you down and sue you. They don’t do missions to help people. They are out to break your child and family. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Beware of the fifth grade teacher and administrators."

"I attended there from 1974-79 back when it was a military school and an all boys school. It was very strict, and I had a very difficult time there. I did make a few good friends however. It was just interesting to look this school up now, and find out that it all changed in 1988 and became a day school for both boys and girls and is no longer a military school. It's still a Catholic school, but nothing like it was back when I was there. In fact, it sounds like they now have great education programs."

"I attended from 1956 through1963. During that time, it was a military academy. Sister Mary David O.S.B. was the first grade teacher. Sister Ethel Reda O.S.B was the mother superior. I did not graduate anywhere near top of class, I did receive a superior education. It has made my life a whole lot better. I feel sorry for all the children who will miss the educational experiences of linton hall. You never really appreciate your elementary education utility later in life. Michael Donley."
