I rely heavily on customer reviews, which is how I discovered this little gem. This salon has a lot of positive reviews and for a good reason! It's a small salon with a very relaxed atmosphere. The vibe was very warm and welcoming from the moment I walked inside. Sharon was my stylist and she did a great job. She placed lowlights in my salt and pepper hair to give it a bit more dimension, then blew it out and straightened it. It looked amazing when she was done. It's been four days and my blowout is still going strong! Their pricing was reasonable as well."

"I am new to Forest and had a bit of anxiety when it came to getting my hair colored, cut and styled. The minute I walked into Salt and Fringe Salon, I was greeted with smiles and friendly "hellos". The salon has such a great vibe, you just feel like it's going to be a good experience. Carrie greeted me and told me she would be doing my hair. She did an amazing consultation. She took the time to make sure I got the color I wanted. She then took the time to go over the haircut style I wanted. Needless to say, my color, cut and style turned out beautiful. Other places I've been, I felt rushed, but Carrie took the time, not only is she amazing at what she does, she is so nice and kind. I would recommend Salt and Fringe Salon and Carrie to anyone who is new to town, or is looking for a change."
