"A long term client of Curtis @ Amici Style, I sought out his insights on my increasingly progressive hair loss and corresponding self-image – I simply did not like the person looking back at me in the mirror. Given his deep domain knowledge on the (i) hair growth cycle, (ii) optimal nourishment to optimize that growth and (iii) drivers of hair loss, I reached out to him in Spring 2023 for advisory on redressing my developing male pattern baldness. Over the course of a 90 minute consultation, Curtis provided an incredible amount of insight on the stage of my hair loss with options for near term and long term treatment for hair restoration. Although I had already dedicated a lot of due diligence in stratifying the pretenders from the artisans in surgical procedure, Curtis respectfully but emphatically asked a host of questions in illustrating the many flaws in my approach and subsequent takeaways. Curtis humbly relayed his long association with other clients that invested in hair restoration only to bitterly disappointed in the outcome. These clients traveled to major metropolitan markets, returning to Curtis with tall tales of predicted outcomes they had literally bought into. Sadly, very few of those high hopes came to fruition, with Curtis detailing the core drivers of each procedure’s failed approach and execution. Some outcomes were so horrific that no number of follow on procedures could redress the initial botched transplant effort. Sensing my deepening sense of hopelessness, Curtis regaled me with a recent client’s trek to a true purveyor of the art of hair restoration, returning with a seemingly incredible indistinguishable incision on the back of the scalp from the FUT Procedure that produced a follicular unit yield @ 2000+. I followed Curtis’ Advisory in engaging that same surgeon in undergoing the transplant procedure in Fall 2023. Now after four months post operative and my most recent trek to Amici Style, I was thrilled with Curtis’ Assessment and Projections for what one year post operative should look like, based upon what he saw on me and that other client whom he had just recently styled. The Bottom Line – Curtis is incredibly gifted in (i) crafting the style best suited for a client along with (ii) marshalling deep domain knowledge on hair loss and restoration procedures."

"I had an appointment today with a friend to get hair cuts. We were planning on going for months and I had a big trip planned for the weekend. I got stuck in traffic for two hours, had a horrible day, and came to the end of my friend’s appointment to go to dinner with her after, having far surpassed my scheduled time and already called to reschedule for next week. Curtis who cut my friends hair, heard that I had missed my appointment, the situation, and that I had to reschedule to come back. He immediately stated he would make time after his last appointment to cut my hair if I didn’t mind waiting for 30-45 minutes. Not only did he cut my hair, but he took the time to style it after, taught me easy ways to style it myself at home, and gave me tips and tricks on ways to have fun with it at the new length. His accommodating and generous personality was astounding and I could not have imagined a better experience. Additionally, I have celiac disease and have to use gluten-free products. Finding a place that makes and uses gluten-free shampoo and conditioner is unheard of. Curtis taking the time to walk me through the products that were best for my hair AFTER me showing interest and knowing they are made for people with celiac was everything to me.
