About the Business
CarScope Repair and Diagnosis is a family-owned auto repair shop located at 1014 Bells Mill Road in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, but we recommend giving us a call before coming by in case we can't get to your vehicle the same day.
At CarScope, we prioritize building trusted personal relationships with our customers. Our goal is to look out for your best interests and provide high-quality repairs at an honest price. We don't use typical sales tactics and base our service recommendations solely on the safety, performance, economy, and reliability of your vehicle.
Our experienced technicians handle almost everything except body work and are equipped for electronic testing and general automotive diagnostics. We provide up-front, realistic estimates and stand behind our work with warranties on parts and labor.
For routine maintenance, our master technicians offer peace of mind and thorough service to prevent future issues. We also offer towing services for your convenience, with a local tow cost of $65.00.
We are proud to serve the Hampton Roads area, including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Isle of Wight. We even have customers who come from Hampton, Newport News, and Moyock, North Carolina. We offer discounts for military, law enforcement, emergency medical technicians, and firefighters as a token of our appreciation.

"I am not an engineer of any kind--I know very little about cars and I know even less about fixing them or what said fixes might cost. That being said, if I were to take my car into a big-name car shop, the chances of them taking advantage of my lack of knowledge are very high. With CarScope, I brought my car in with no idea what was wrong with it. Lights were going on and other such nonsense. Turns out, there was more going on than just the lights due to some less than professional work that had been done previously. CarScope took care of my car professionally and thoroughly.
