"Never realized how bad this place was until I started going somewhere else. Tooth extraction was the worst medical procedure I've ever had done. Then a few weeks after I had something poking through my gum. She told me it was my bone so she shaved it down so my gum could grow over. Charged me for an emergency visit. A week after, it popped out, it was just a piece of tooth fragment left behind. I received extra charges in the mail after almost every visit, something I realized was not normal until after starting at my new place. I was gonna peacefully part ways without a review like this, but upon starting at my new, absolutely fantastic dentist; I emailed Strawbridge dental for my records to be sent to my new dental office and they just never responded. Please save yourself the money and time."

In addition she initially thought I would need a crown which we all know is expensive but after she started to fix my issue she determined that all I needed was a new filling. This saved me 400.00. It’s this type of professional integrity that most businesses in this world lack. I have been at this practice for over 20 years. They are the best."

"My husband and I have been patients of this office for 4+ years and have been extremely satisfied with our care to the point of traveling 35 minutes for our appointments over the last two years after moving to Chesapeake. However, during my husbands most recent visit the technician opted to perform X-Rays that were considered unnecessary and not covered under his health insurance. Prior to obtaining the images, the technician allegedly stepped out of the room to validate that the X-Ray would be completely covered by his insurance and when she returned she advised it would be. We now have a $90 unexpected bill. When we tried to argue this we were told they would discuss it with the physician and get back to us. 2-3 months later we were given another notice of the bill and now with interest. I do not recommend this office as they are not thorough at verifying preventative health coverage to something as common as dental insurance provided through the city of Virginia Beach."
