Magnolia Dental Roanoke

"Dentist is amazing BUT make sure to physically call your insurance to make sure your things are covered. I got told my crown would be covered by my insurance and got the temp put on. A week or two later I got a $1400 bill I had to pay because my insurance was maxed out. I told them about my prior dental earlier in the year so they knew that some of my dental was used. $1400 is a big mess up and had to borrow it from a family member that will take me years to pay back. DOUBLE check with insurance before anything gets done so you're not stuck with a fake tooth in your mouth. If I did have my in laws I would have not been able to pay for it and would have the temp stuck in my mouth. How is that fair to do to patients? How is that supposed to help patients with dental anxiety to come back? When I called to talk to the receptionist about the bill she giggled and said it has to be paid before they put in the permanent tooth. I wish more than anything I recorded the call of being laughed at. The only reason I am going back is because I only need a few more teeth done and it's not the dentist's fault that things were not billed correctly/or even checked my remaining balance on insurance. Because if it was done that bill would have never been thrown at me. Even my insurance suggested calling now before any dental work is done. It's not the dentist's fault the receptionist laughed in my face over being billed. Clearly there is an issue with the receptionist laughing in patients faces over high bills, who does that."

"Dr Magid was very up from about treatment plan and then when I went for crown she was very fast and painless. Erin was great to have there. She answered all my questions and kept me at ease.
