"One of the two Food Lions in my area, so I frequent often. What I don't appreciate is the young male making it a point to stand behind me and watch me ring up my food, on both of my last visits. And as soon as I finished he walked away. The profiling is real, why do I need to steal pretzels and cheese. Do better! And why doesn't the one closer to BroadCreek have self check out? No trust in the community, sad."
"Came here a few times this past week and the store is very nice and very clean. They had a wide variety of food and other products including wines and other alcoholic beverages. They had everything that I needed to get from here except for jumbo shells for stuffed shells. Other than that I would definitely come back again in the future."
"We love shopping at this Food Lion. The staff is always really REALLY nice (seriously they’re fantastic!) and extremely helpful. Some of the prices for random items are more expensive than at other grocery stores (like Target) which is sometimes surprising depending on what the items are (like canned goods). The lines always move fairly quickly and we love that they bag produce and cold items in blue bags and the rest of your groceries in white bags. That makes it really easy to quickly identify what needs to be brought inside the house first (and put into the fridge) when it’s really hot outside. The parking lot has lights, but it’s not very well lit at night. I’ve never felt unsafe, but if you have kids or are concerned with safety, I wouldn’t recommend visiting when the sun is down just because it’s certainly a lot darker than other grocery store parking lots."
