"Called about scrapping gold to see the current prices, and I mentioned that the piece was a necklace and pendant. The gentleman on the phone quickly said " it doesn't matter, you'll get scrap price..which I knew. But when I asked again for their prices to match against others, I was told I would have to bring it in for the jeweler to look at. If it's scrap, what's to look at? It's real. If you buy scrap metals, it shouldn't be too hard to look up the price each morning to.give potential customers an idea. A waste of both of our time."
