"Hello all I Was just racially profiled at this location here in Petersburg Virginia for having a backpack as a purse I use from my daily life , I was in this store with my mom and I told my mom that I would be back and go off to look at some clothes and I was stopped by this (white) lady and was told that I can’t have that in here walking around and to report to the front because I had a backpack which is my purse,and I told the lady that I would go tell my mom and before we could get the the front good enough the lady (African American)(Donna)on the register close to the door gets on the loudspeaker and says the person with the backpack come to the front. Mind you I was the only female with a purse backpack in there and have been coming to this location for many months and has never had a problem. The store manager ( Mrs Phillis) was very nice and caring and helpful in this situation and said she would handle it from there . As a African female and I did not feel safe in that situation. April 6th 2022 On a Wednesday 2:15 pm."
"This is a very nice Rose's!! It is clean and well organized. Clothing is hung so you can move and look through it, not all jumbled up. Great sales! Staff is courteous and helpful!"
"I understand there is a shortage on workers but George was rude and I remained patient and tried to be understanding but no matter how many people your down customers should still be able to do returns, exchanges, refunds and sales. If you are unable to provide all the services then close the doors for the day. Rude should never be an option when dealing with the public you chose to work in retail dealing with the public so do your and remain professional."
