McDonald's

"I am a front end cashier here. The pace is always busy, but I am a people person & do my best for customers, showing them the respect they deserve. I even have gotten to know regulars by name. Yes, I like the food, but for personal medical reasons I get a meal very occasionally. Don't let that stop you, but be kind to yourself!"

"The Powhatan McDonald's may be in a new building, but it is still the same awful service. So much so that I will not patronize it again, even though I drive by it virtually every day. If you dine in, there is no one at the counter to take your order. So you were forced to use the self-serve kiosk. Today, after placing my order at the kiosk, I brought the table marker to my table and waited for my food to be brought to me as the kiosk indicated it would be. I sat and sat and sat. Finally, I got up to see what was wrong. My order number did not appear anywhere on the board. So I spoke to someone who appeared to be a manager. She said my food was sitting there on the counter. God knows how long it sat there. I had ordered bottled orange juice. I received a cup of orange juice. I ordered the food to dine in. It was packaged to go. The manager did not apologize for not bringing me the food, did not apologize for letting my food sit on the counter getting cold, and did not apologize for not giving me the bottled orange juice I had ordered. She clearly did not care. So I ate my cold meal in my car. In addition to the consistently lousy service at this location, the dining room once again was filthy. Does corporate have any idea what's going on in this restaurant? Does it care? I am not going to return to this, or any other McDonald's, for a long time. Today's experience could not have been much worse. And the apparent lack of caring by the manager tells me the situation will not get better anytime soon. Months after leaving a terrible review, I tried it again. It was even worse! Avoid at all cost. I went to the drive-through at night, and nobody responded. Eventually they did. After getting my food, I got fries it must've been in the bin for a half hour. So I went around the drive-through again. Nobody responded. Only after honking my horn multiple times at the window, someone appeared. They made new fries for me. Not sure what they are doing at night in there. Is corporate paying attention to this location? Seriously, what is going on here at night? Will never return. I gave them a second chance, and they blew it. Patronize this location at your own risk."

"I usually don't leave reviews, but after this experience I feel the need to take the time to. I had an item left out of my order from the day before, so I let them know at the first window when I paid for my current order. The lady at the first window said to tell them at the second window. So I did. They told me they were sorry that if I wanted the item I'd have to pay for it again. It was just a pack of chocolate chip cookies from a $30 order. But, I already paid for it and didn't receive it, why would I want to pay for it again?? I've had numerous issues at this location. Just a couple examples would be a half filled frappe and no cheese on a cheeseburger, there are more. I continued to come because it's convenient. But I won't be coming back."

"This is why I will never eat here again! The worst thing in the world is biting into a sandwich and pulling a piece of hair out of it. I wanted to throw up everything! Please view the pictures! McDonald's please make your people wear hair nets!"
